A Story That Stayed With Me

One of my most memorable sessions was with a lovely older woman who came in with her daughter and three grandchildren. She told me she hadn’t had a professional photo taken in over 30 years, and now, watching her grandkids grow up so fast, she wanted to create something that would last long after the moment had passed.

We spent the afternoon capturing portraits of each grandchild, some group shots, and quiet, emotional moments between her and each of them. But what struck me most came a few weeks later, during the print reveal session.

She returned to the studio and carefully chose portraits for each of her grandchildren.
